Aliens are real. The government is finally going to tell us all about it. They’re saying it will be terrible, upsetting, even that it might make us question our reality, our religion.

Lemme ask. When was the last time the government was truthful about anything? If there are aliens, so what? What difference does it make? How will our daily lives change? Will gas cost less, groceries become less expensive, make life intrinsically more fun? I doubt it. I assert the entire thing is a distraction, a falsehood intended to keep us from asking about all those data centers, jobs lost to AI, the quicksand we’re in in Iran, the continuing conflict in Ukraine, the merging of our military with that of Israel. So, here we are, those on X believing they’re hip, in the know, ahead of the rest.
