A distress call

Palestinian Ministry of Health - Gaza: The occupation forces continue to heavily bomb and destroy Kamal Adwan Hospital, targeting all its facilities.

There are numerous injuries among medical staff and patients, and the medical teams are unable to move between hospital departments or rescue their injured colleagues. It appears that a decision has been made to execute all staff who refused to evacuate the hospital.

What you see represents less than 1% of what is actually happening; every moment, an Israeli massacre is being carried out in northern Gaza, from Jabalia City and Jabalia Camp to Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun.

The Israeli occupation forces have imposed a complete blackout on communications and the internet, blocked emergency medical teams, and targeted journalists. This is an act of ethnic cleansing unfolding before the eyes of the world.

For 22 consecutive days, the people of northern Gaza have endured unimaginable suffering: brutal killings of children, women, and the elderly; relentless destruction of homes and neighborhoods; and a suffocating blockade that blocks the entry of water and food, leaving those who survive the bombardment to face starvation. This devastation is inflicted with some of the most advanced American and European weaponry used by the occupying forces.

Yet, despite this harsh reality, the people of northern Gaza show extraordinary resilience and faith, standing firm on their land and refusing displacement, no matter the cost.

Leaving northern Gaza is not a safe option; it means surrendering to an unknown fate. You could be arrested, tortured to death, or executed in the streets, as has happened to many.
Nothing in the north is spared from Israeli targeting—neither people, nor trees, nor stones.
The Israeli army kills women and children simply for being in northern Gaza.
What is happening in terms of mass killings and ethnic cleansing exceeds our ability to fully cover, and what you see represents no more than 10% of the scale of death and terror we endure every day.

What is happening in Jabalia is a forced displacement under the threat of weapons, documented live by Israeli drone cameras.
This is the second displacement of the camp’s residents, most of whom have been refugees since the Nakba of 1948.
Today, the cycle of displacement and destruction repeats itself, as if a large-scale reenactment of the Nakba is unfolding before the eyes of the world.

The horror Israel is bringing on the entire population of northern Gaza is inhumane. It is pure evil and a war crime that humanity should not tolerate. This massacre should be faced with a decisive international action to stop it immediately, including through imposing an arms embargo and effective sanctions. Israel is starving hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, bombing entire neighborhoods out of existence, burning displaced children in tents, and destroying hospitals. It is brutally terrorizing the whole population to push them out of their homeland. The Security Council and all members of the international community should not allow this barbaric crime to continue for one more minute. Failure to stop this massacre is a shame on the whole international community. The Israeli government is continuing with its inhumane war crimes because the world is allowing it to. The impunity must end. Israeli occupation forces should not be allowed to burn any more Palestinian children alive, should not be allowed to commit any more murders and destroy any more schools or hospitals. There is no justification for the failure by the international community and its institutions to protect the innocent, stop the ethnic cleansing, implement international law and ensure justice.

Urgent Appeal:
As the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital revealed, not far from Kamal Adwan, the Israeli air force targeted a residential square in its entirety, in the region of Beit Lahia, close to Abu Jidian, between Abu Jidian roundabout and Masjid Al-Qassam, in the area of Beit Lahia.

There were more than four or five residential blocks that were razed to the ground. At this moment, there are more than 67 martyrs and dozens of injured, some of whom have reached the hospital, while others remain under the rubble.

A massacre that is horrifying, a butchery, a mass extermination that is being committed against our nation’s children, our women, our elders, and our men in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Truly, these days are difficult and harsh, ongoing, ongoing, ongoing.

We ask God Almighty to have mercy on our nation’s children and to lift this cloud and burden from us and our nation’s children. And to lift the siege on Kamal Adwan Hospital and all the hospitals, for life to return to normal, and for the entire world—from journalists, the media, human rights organizations, and healthcare institutions around the world—to speak up before it’s too late, before our nation is exterminated.

• We have reached a point where we must prioritize cases, and many injuries have passed away due to our inability to treat them.
• Several injured individuals have been martyred due to the lack of resources, and there is a severe shortage of medical supplies and specialized personnel.
• There are dozens of missing people under the rubble, and unfortunately, we cannot retrieve them due to the lack of resources and ongoing strikes.
