@andyburnham a proportional property tax would mean renters would no longer pay council tax however landlords will have to build it into monthly rent and if the rate is higher for a second property it will be disproportionally more than the renters current council tax 🤦♀️
@GMB@GMB what about the guy at Broomfield Hospital who died in the waiting room because they were too busy to prioritise his symptoms https://t.co/EcxIImM3DW
@shabbapne I moved some furniture about next to the box into the house so Hubbie was ‘suggesting’ I must have done it! Very smug when I checked on here and it’s not my fault 😂
@VeekeshGujjar Have you seen PEOPLE writing their names and emergency numbers on their arms in case anything happens to them! This is an extreme event and not like bringing your dog or cat in 🤦♀️
@GMB totally agree re private schools … it won’t impact the ‘rich’ it will impact those working families who make life choices to send their kids to private school. The ‘privilege’ won’t be impacted by 20% it will just make it more elitist
With multiple suicides in my family I know #mentalhealth is real … if #RishiSunak plan is to separate true MH conditions from those suffering ‘shit life syndrome’ (those who don’t have the instagram life they want) I’m all for it!
@GMB This is a self fulling problem - people ARE going to the Dr unnecessarily, that means those who NEED the appointments can’t get one! It’s about common sense… there are only so many GP hrs a day to see patients so don’t use them up unnecessarily.
@GMB@sussanareidd re vat on private schools to fund more teachers - does she not realise that won’t hit ‘the rich’ but mean working families who choose private schools can no longer afford them making divide bigger and put MORE pressure on already over subscribed local schools!
@susannareid100@GMB Please pick up the stupid labour plan re private schools - they will make it MORE expensive so only the RICHER can afford it! Lots of working families also send kids to private school who will be priced out putting MORE pressure on state schools as more places will be needed!
@Keir_Starmer Oh and let’s not forget all those families who then CAN’T afford it will need more spaces in local schools putting extra pressure on them (and our local ones are all already over subscribed with kids travelling over an hour each way to the next nearest school with spaces !)
@Keir_Starmer Think about this a little more - adding tax to private school fees makes ONLY accessible to the very rich! They can still afford to send their kids but working families who can currently just afford it won’t be able to anymore!
