If you want to know how unreliable AI detectors in general are, I got curious of an AI image detector, I drew a stick figure in MSPaint and it flagged it as AI generated.
Kind of why I trust my own eyes than a detector for this stuff.
This is insane. A student’s 30-page senior thesis was apparently flagged as “AI-generated” by an automated plagiarism tool. He’s facing an automatic failing grade, academic suspension, and potentially losing a $45,000 scholarship. He even offered to show his Google Docs version history to prove the paper was written manually.
A classic example of bad apples ruining the bunch. In this case, the griefing and troll Limbos have ruined his reputation so bad that even good Limbo players are pushed away.
And peoples dislike of him is why I quit playing Warframe because I was too hyperspecialized in him-
As much as people are clowning on these etiquette guidelines needing to be a thing due to the community, the fact it exists at all is disturbingly telling where modern fandoms are now.

In a normal world the community would actually listen to the devs.
In 2026 fandoms, this would likely have the fandom ignore them at best or the devs be harassed instead at worst.
The devs behind Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! have urged fans to stop harassing each other online
The toxic behavior included bullying players for being bad at the game, mocking others for not spending money on the game, and character fan wars
And I'm 1000% of the belief that this toxic behavior within current fandom is as a result of how bleak the current state of the world is.
Everyone's frustrated and because they can't take their anger out whats ACTUALLY causing their issues they cope by being insufferable online.
I am serious when I say this: If I ever hit it big with a project, I'll likely disappear off the face of the Earth because given how modern fandoms are, I do not want to take the risk of toxicity.
‘THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS’ creator Gooseworx says she knows that people are upset about her response after the series finale got leaked.
“I kind of just wanted to make a cartoon, & it’s ended up being way more trouble than it’s worth. I really just can’t keep my heart in this thing anymore. It’s gotten too much bigger than me, & I probably shouldn’t be the figurehead of it.”
