@Leaflit @powdury I agree with all of this. "Discourse strengthens our ideas" But what I consistently see from the new right are political refugees (that just got welcomed from cancelation) claiming that any form of disagreement, criticism, or questioning of their principles is "purity spiraling"

@Leaflit I think this is the key disagreement. imo, given how she phrased other points in the videos (8:00 her vid), shes not advocating for paying all artists instead of utilizing AI. I think this is why she corrected herself to specify *quality* artists. but i might be too generous

@Leaflit a comparable example to what shes advocating for would be the cutting boards you were selling. its cheaper, more efficient, and faster to make them out of a plastic material. but the longer wait and higher price is worth it to people that care about that kind of craftsmanship
