When a regime targets civilians, trains suicide bombers, and plants bombs in children's toys in territories it claims as its own, what do you call that?
To me, Kiev has moved beyond war crimes and is openly practicing state terrorism. To the democratic West, it is still freedom they expect you to stand with.
@MungusW@eihtbeezy@BigBroLGND I've interviewed several underground members
Some just went to college or got jobs, were married with children, and just blended back into society
As you said - some blended into global movements
But
It was never the same
@Tony_Gaskew@eihtbeezy@BigBroLGND There came a point when it became obvious that anyone who remained fully revolutionary and wasn’t a plant was a target. That was at least a part of the reason Cleaver and his allies fled to North Africa. From there, at least a few were just absorbed into global movements.
@MungusW@eihtbeezy@BigBroLGND You are correct
There are numerous members of several armed black revolutionary organizations
RAM
BBP
BLA
RNA
That were underground and were never identified
But it is ideological . The ideology is the Clintonian dogma that elections are won by presenting positions which 100% can tolerate rather than positions that 51% will run through a wall to achieve.
Principles and principled people are your enemy.
Y’all keep thinking this is ideological for me. It isn’t.
Our party has socialists, progressives, New Dems, Blue Dogs, moderates, and everything in between. I’ve worked with all of them.
Hell, I ran the House Democratic whip operation with 90 Progressives, 45 New Dems, and 45 Blue Dogs in a House where we had just a 15 seat majority. We cast more roll call votes and passed more legislation than any House in history because we understood that governing meant finding common ground.
That’s not my beef.
My question is simple: Are you working constructively to make the party better, or are you just there to piss all over it?
We already have one political party trying to defeat us. We can’t afford to spend all our time fighting a second front inside our own ranks.
If you’re on the team, be on the team. Push us. Challenge us. Make us better. But help us win.
@eihtbeezy@BigBroLGND And...
40 years after they went underground for good
The CIA continued to list the Black Liberation Army (BLA) as a domestic terrorist threat
@Tony_Gaskew@eihtbeezy@BigBroLGND And yet there are Panthers who will never be found.
Being exiled in among peoples who simply did not play ball with the colonial powers was a path to anonymity for those who had no desire to continue a fight they couldn’t win.
I think most black Americans have no idea how much of an impact that the BPP and its underground army, the BLA, has left on their country’s security infrastructure and approach to governing them.
But consider this: even though the BPP has been decimated since the 70s, living Panthers are still followed by government police at their elder ages. Some of these people are in their 70s and 80s. Even at the organizational level, the BLA was being referenced by Obama’s FBI in “Black Identity Extremism” documents back in 2015/6.
NEXT STATION - DONETSK:
Just a few years ago, the Donetsk railway station was on the front line,</a> until the Russian army pushed back the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the northern outskirts of the city.
Today, passengers are once again arriving here, and commuter trains connect Donetsk with Yasinovataya, Makeevka, Khartsyzsk and other cities of the republic.
Together with our film crew,I once again visited the Donetsk station and saw how, after years, normal life is gradually returning here.
"We are alive" No. 369, Donetsk, Donetsk People's Republic.
Watch, listen, subscribe, help, participate.
And we continue to work in Novorossiya and the Russian military border region.
No one will help us except ourselves, and everything we have is ours.

For the K-Hive:
Melat Kiros is about to unseat Diane DeGette who so offended Clyburn and the Congressional Black Caucus that she was blacklisted from committee leadership.
Support Melat Kiros! Unite DSA and the K-Hive once and for all!
Mamdani enjoys the most support among Black and Latino New Yorkers. You wouldn’t know that. if you watched the news or commentary from centrist accounts on X. They always try to paint leftist politicians as out of touch with communities of color
