Tinubu's administration alone:

-Devalued currency, the naira has lost its value more than before.

-NYSC corpers have been abducted and even lost their lives due to insecurity crisis.

-Schools have been attacked, shutdown, and even abducted making national news.

-Fuel and the cost of other petroleum products have increased to an unbearable price.

-Umployment increased.

-Tuition, and medical fees increased.

-ShopRite and other international brands exited.

-National Grid failure repeatedly.

-Cost of cement and other building materials almost tripled.

-Rents, and foodtstuffs are at an all-time high.

-FG project failure, take the Benin-Asaba expressway.

-Increased national debt.

-Never-ending controversies.

And still, people campaign.

What is going on in APC is very interesting. This is the first time in my political history, and when I say since I started following politics actively and since I started participating in politics, that a minister appointed under the executive has gone on first in a round to call out governors. He hosted a media parley and insulted governors. Then he went on another media station and called governors lazy and 419, then doubled down again yesterday, went to another media rally, another media station, for two hours, and kept insulting governors. Four times this guy has done this.

And the political party where the political party that the governors are under can’t say a word. The spokesperson to the political party, the APC, can’t say a word. The chairman of the APC can’t say a word. Nobody can say a word. I have never seen this kind of thing before.
But you know, one thing is sure: this kind of attitude always leads to one thing. Unfortunately, I don’t know if the opposition is well equipped to harvest and take advantage of what is going on. Because I don’t understand how a minister will go on national TV and you’re insulting governors because they said they didn’t want rainbow coalition. You’re not the only one doing coalition. Soludo is supporting Tinubu. But Soludo is not going about instigating problems or crises in other states. Adeleke is supporting Tinubu. He’s not going around instigating crises in other states. Alex Otti is supporting Tinubu. He’s not doing the same. He’s just focused on the state. So what is this?

I have never seen in a political party where the president is not talking, the vice president is not talking, everybody is keeping quiet or scared because they do not want to challenge one man. It is going to be an interesting month and maybe weeks. We just have less than four months to the election.
The president spent three years trying to convince these governors to join his political party and work for him. I was on this timeline when APC members were busy celebrating governors who were moving from PDP to APC. And all of a sudden, what I’m hearing is that to those governors only Wike can deliver for President Tinubu. Those governors cannot deliver for President Tinubu. That’s fantastic. We will see how it plays out.

Yesterday he called out Hope, he called out Kwara State Governor, I know that there are a lot of governors that he’s going to call out too. But I am happy that this is happening because some of us warned that Wike is going to do this. A man who could insult President Jonathan and his wife this is somebody who gave Wike cover. But a man who could insult President Jonathan simply because President Jonathan said that our judiciary, the judges must begin to act like judges. This man took a swipe at President Jonathan.
A man who could insult Senator Mbata, who gave Wike his first political lifeline, political career, and who brought him into politics. He basically brought Wike into politics, made him local government chairman. If Wike could insult these people, and let me say this today: Wike would insult President Tinubu, and we will all analyze it. Because you see today he’s insulting governors, APC governors.

If you had told APC people that Wike would be fighting with APC governors for most of their election, I’m sure many of them won’t have believed it. But it’s happening. So we can continue defending Wike. I am happy. Keep defending him.
The one thing is sure: he’s digging a hole. And the election is just four months away. So he should continue insulting those governors. We’ll see the reward in less than four months. Whether the insult would push President Tinubu to win or the insult would sink President Tinubu, four months is just close by. We’ll see the results.

Politicians especially those in power prefers to have praise singers around them, while those in opposition prefer fiery critics of govt around them.

This same opposition that want fiery critics around them will not condone crictism when they eventually come to to power.
