I’m actually getting tweets as though I should be unhappy Newcastle beat Spurs because of my recent criticism! This is what I’ve been wanting man! 😂

I’m delighted we won but equally those saying this proves ANYTHING I’ve said wrong should think back to the PSG performance and realise one performance (especially against this lot) doesn’t change a season.

We’ve beaten a shocking Spurs side who might get relegated, they were worse than Burnley & Wolves. I’m glad the lads turned up for the manager (he deserves it big time) but if you think this silences any criticism when we couldn’t have had it any easier - you’re showing how little you know about football.

A proper side would’ve buried Spurs in the first half. We let them back in like we always do. If we had started Woltemade over Gordon with all those crosses first half, I think we would’ve killed them early on but I’m happy we won and that the lads showed they’re fighting for the manager. BUT don’t dress it up anymore than it needs to be!

I know you disagree with me about Eddie, I fully respect that but I want this team to win as much as you do believe it or not. I care far more about that than being proven right, So let’s be “united” in being chuffed we won and see how Eddie gets on? Hopefully he proves me wrong in the long term… #NUFC 🖤🤍
