The core of this "debate" is purely a semantic issue at this point.
The problem is that powerscaling apparently is now a synonym for narrative consistency rather than just being the name of the hobby of feat-evaluating fictional characters for fun on the internet. A lot of people are confused because nobody used it in the former fashion until recently and don't get why we can't just keep using "narrative consistency" instead of the word used by feat-evaluating hobbyists on the internet.
@OzPardo1 I can see that. Personally, I loved watching Trish’s spiral into villainy. All those subtle personality traits from season one dovetailing her into a moralistic foil for Jessica felt very satisfying.
