There are NO sanctions against Zimbabwe, there are sanctions against 11 people including entities involved in CORRUPTION, the looting of public funds and the plunder of the country’s natural resources and the naked and documented abuse of the security system jailing people who are innocent.
They were sanctioned under the Global Magnitsky Programme.

Their names are;
1. Emmerson Mnangagwa President
2. Constantino Chiwenga Vice President
3. Auxilia Mnangagwa First Lady
4. Kudakwashe Regimond Tagwirei
5. Sandra Mpunga (Tagwirei’s wife)
6. Obey Chimuka (Tagwirei Partner)
7. Oppah Muchinguri Defence Minister
8. Godwin Matanga Chief of Police
9. Stephen Mutamba Deputy Police Chief
10. Walter Tapfumaneyi CIO
11. Owen Ncube was State Security Minister

Anyone saying there are sanctions on Zimbabwe is not only ignorant, they also assume that the people they are telling are ignorant.

The reasons for these people and entities being sanctioned are corruption and abuse of citizens through abductions and use of state institutions to not only steal, but to violate Zimbabwe’s constitution.

How one can be angry that people that have stolen money from Zimbabweans meant to build and run hospitals should not be exposed and sanctioned is beyond logic, how one can say people responsible for abducting their own people and jailing them and at times killing them is beyond me.
How anyone can support the arbitrary arrests of innocent citizens and their imprisonment, as is the situation right now, is beyond me!

2500 Zimbabwean women die every year giving birth simultaneously because the only hospital in Zimbabwe only has ONE maternity theatre built in 1977.
This is caused by these people.

Zimbabwe has done for three years without a single working radiotherapy cancer machine and as a result it now has the highest rate of cancer deaths in the world due the looting and corruption authored by these people.

Pensioners have no access to the money they contributed because of these people, it has been stolen and this is what they were sanctioned for, if you see nothing with stealing from the old then you are mentally deranged.

Publicly central hospitals don’t even have basic medicines like paracetamol because of this corruption, I could go on but we all know how Zimbabwe is so messed up.

Right now we have over 70 political prisoners, jailed yet they committed NO crime, journalists are jailed for exposing corruption and citizens end up running away from being abducted and jailed.
