@TonightVMTV Stabbing people to death stirs things up.
Police incompetence and callousness stirs things up.
"Anti racist" racism stirs things up.
Talking about any of the above doesn't.
@TadhgCalbhaigh@IrishmanIRL There's also the fact that it's kinda the Irish Governments job to advocate for Irish worldwide, and even chance it's arm for us.

@IrishmanIRL Amadán misses the point. Irish Gov exists to advocate on behalf of the Irish. They do not exist to house the world. So it is not contradictory for us to ask US to regularise Irish in America while also enforcing our own (what should be strict) borders. Also, US can say go jump.

@cathynewman@SkyNews@Nigel_Farage He speaks a lot and says nothing.
A typical diffusion tactic to point to accountability. Accountability for what? He refuses to accept two-tier policing.
1. No rage please, wait for accountability
2. No accountability cones
3. Points back at 1
Usual liberal circle jerk
@SaulStaniforth@schneiderhome Are police systemically sexist? Would data showing they strip search or stop men more than women be robust enough evidence to prove they were? You operate off illogical "equity" standards where disparity is evidence of discrimination. You employ soft bigotry of low expectations.
@leftsidehist@Allan4181521@RealSamMelia Are they disproportionately more violent and stricter on men too?
Or are they proportionately hasher? You need to give us the proportions - so how many men vs women commit violence? Resist arrest? In order to show disproportionate response there needs to be population level stats
@KonstantinKisin Show the evidence of racism in Floyd's killing? Is it merely cop white and perp black and ppl get to assert racism?
The actual racism, even then was counterintuitive, in that police negligence/callousness/neck holds had led to deaths before, but no one chanted Tony Timpa.
@carolkav81@kathrynosulli13 But the first Pride marches started in the US, where homosexuality was widely illegal at the time? Are you being racist in not taking the protest to Africa? Intrigued to hear your views on immigration policy and accepting mass movement from these countries you're petrified of.
@GBNEWS "Race was not involved with this" they say, with inference that race had something to do with Floyd merely cos officer and perp were different colours.
Their concept of racism is skin deep and selectively applied.
Chauvins negligence has thinner evidence of racism than Nowak case
@LBC@MsAlisonHume "We almost managed to brush this whole terrible mess under the carpet with a version of Don't look Back in Anger and we would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for you pesky kids*
@DPJHodges@thecommoner1215 Yes. Kids being stabbed to death in the streets tends to cause more violence and division.
The only divide is between those outraged at the murder of Henry Nowak (as latest example of long running state failure), and those outraged at people noticing.
You're a scumbag.
Media outlets that platform politicians or NGO positions and turn comments off to the public to avoid scrutiny, are not interested in news, truth, or democracy. They are propaganda outlets. @X@nikitabier@elonmusk you should not allow politicians or media orgs to close comments.

Original post is gone but that's a direct call to violence from thick Bazza, a month after the election of Trump
