@albertdolan_ I would argue that for some projects the public should be allowed to vote on it - say people from that area. People from Galway not allowed to vote on certain things that are planned for Cork. Lets the people decide how they want their towns to be managed.
@griptmedia@Ben_Scallan This data should be easily acquired by Ben and his team. It seems from all the content being posted over the past 2-3 years that non-nationals, freshly here, ARE getting social housing ahead of Irish residents that have been waiting for years.
@griptmedia Good man @Ben_Scallan keep the pressure on. The only journalist that appears to be asking legit questions and more importantly not accepting stock answers
@real_dick9@PicturesFoIder Why so angry. Is your tie a little too tight. The tie is standard size its the knot used that makes it look 'fat' or 'skinny'
@MichealMartinTD If there is real motivation to protect young people maybe start addressing the record number of young homeless people or those being abused and taken advantage of within the Tusla network. Just a idea.
@Niall_Boylan So I have a run down property. I can't afford to do the renovations and I wont be able to afford the 20-30k. I have a choice of a. Probably demolish the house. (no body wins) b. Put it on the market and hope that somebody takes a punt on it.
@VirginMediaNews Tax tax tax. The most unoriginal plan. People will own run down properties and can't afford to renovate. If they can afford the fines / tax they will be forced to sell. It's such regressive thinking
@1rorycowan@Ben_Scallan I vote that he is the mediator for the next round of political debates that happen around the election. He's the only man to ask genuine probing question and not accept scripted answers
@caulmick Anybody with 2 working eyes could see this would never be a success. Whoever pitched this idea and whoever approved it should be fired or placed on administrative leave.
