Hate that this quarantine is making us all miss out on our Easter traditions, like the whole family coming together to ridicule me for, once again, being too hungover to attend Easter morning church.
All the bars are closed, but the TouchTunes App isn’t. I just want y’all to know that Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox is playing at every Jukebox on Franklin Street right now.
I don’t think I’ve ever cared about a celebrity’s death until right now. His Third Rock from the Sun (1994) album STAYED on repeat at the Murphy household. Pretty sure I learned how to work our first CD player with that very album. Heart breaking.
I take a lot of pride in playing music for the entire neighborhood each day, so I hope Poplar Grove is ready for a Joe Diffie serenade on this otherwise beautiful Sundee afternoon. Prop this man up beside the Jukebox, please!
On Monday I told my parents that I couldn’t visit them anymore because of this Covid-19 stuff. That’s no big deal but it also means I won’t see Woodstock for awhile. I already miss that little dude.
If someone 10 years ago had asked me where I’d be at age 29, I would never have guessed that I’d be kickin it alone in my living room, watching Frozen II on a Sundee night... yet here I am.
I’m not saying President Trump is in the right for calling this the “Chinese Virus.” But if it had started in America and then spread internationally, the entire world would be taking a steaming shit on him and America right now... And most of you wouldn’t care.
@JDP649 First off, I will never understand how you retain that random knowledge. Second, I think most Americans these days would have no problem shitting on New York if given the opportunity (the only state I hate more than New York is Texas. I base this solely on people I served with.)
So I decided to take inventory, just in case we do get locked down in our homes soon. I have 88 bottles of liquor/wine and 6 thirty racks of beer in the house. I live alone. Send help.
