But it was always odd to me because Im part Latino too, and we know damn well that we never use "American" to refer to ourselves. It's almost an argument that only exists for the sake of arguing with Americans.

@confidentialsin You kinda don't need to when your first language is English, and if you look the percentage of people that speak more than 1 language in English speaking countries, they are all about 20%-30%, but of course, the obsession is always Americans Americans Americans.
