@startkyIeorton I know it would’ve costed draft capital (and I don’t think he’s an NFL starter cause of his arm) but I was surprised that Ian Cunningham didn’t want to bring in Bagent to compete with Penix. Maybe they found something in Jack Strand but they are in a rough QB situation.

@startkyIeorton Yeesh. I was going to comically mention what Malachi Toney and Zachariah Branch YPRR (know those are obviously not first rounders), but if this list keeps growing with the same outcome I’m not sure how optimistic I can be if my team drafted this archetype in the first two rounds.

@startkyIeorton To add on, I’m not sure if you’ve looked into this but I wonder how much a player can change from his college profile for a WR (i.e., QB downfield passing). During your 2025 WR Draft previews, I think you said that Golden’s advanced stats weren’t promising for his NFL future.

@caydenmc I mean one team has already been to the playoffs and dominated the league while Eric Morris has not one a conference title in the FBS. I really like the hire for Okie State but I think it’s going to take a little bit for the lines of scrimmage to be able to keep up.

@startkyIeorton Even without the gambling, the big reason he went to Tech is to increase an at best late day 2/early day 3 draft pick to a hopeful day 1/day 2 pick with a big year against a pretty manageable schedule at Tech this year. I think it’s being very hopeful to think he’s a 1st rounder.
