I have sometimes tried to imagine what if he’d of been with the Blackhawks 8-9 years earlier.
Orr & The Golden Jet #9 would’ve been hoisting “Stanley” at least 2 or 3 times!!!
Without an “if or but” the Hawks would’ve easily won the finals in 71 against the Habs!!

His musical genius and extreme talent of illustrating imagery through song should be held in the highest regard and revered by all the purest fans of country music & beyond! His music has no expiry date in my mind!

Actually I was 6 years old when “Bobby Hulls Dad” escorted me and my big poster of #9 into the Hawks dressing room in MLG’s after beating the Leafs & then proceeded to instruct all the boys wrapped in their underwear and towels to “sign the kids damned poster” and we’ll…they all complied…especially Robert Marvin Hull my idol as a kid growing up playing hockey in Canada!
So it’s been a little longer than 7 years…
But we’re all open to our opinions and your’s is bit different than mine.
I respect your view of #8’s apparent colourful escapades on the ice but do not share in any of them.
I will not make any judgement on your advanced knowledge of the game itself, I trust gained from being perched on a “gondola” at a much higher altitude than most of us other heathens.
In the end it really don’t matter that much given the big picture and it certainly ain’t “worth writing home about.”👍🏻🙏
