@ivan_8848 The only reason Ukraine would join NATO is in fear of Russia (fully justified as is now obvious), same as Baltic states & now even Finland & Sweden. This is a post colonial war, which ends when the colonist leave (ask 🇬🇧 or 🇫🇷 ) Putin is the war monger, everything else is noise

@barnes_law The shutting of Churches & monasteries that belong to the Moscow Patriarchate, whose head is a Putin acolyte, & who are Russia sympathetic is a regrettable security measure. Churches unconnected to Moscow are unaffected. But you knew all that if course.

@HeronSheelagh @btts_matt @trussliz Democracy is limited everywhere. The 🇬🇧 ‘First past the Post’ electoral system is particularly flawed, but both Tories & Labour resisted any changes as it suited them. This may change to, ahem……’improve democratic accountability’ aka Stop Reform .
