CALL FOR HELP:
"Sudan's Hospitals Under Fire"
Hospitals and healthcare facilities in Sudan are under enormous pressure of the ongoing military conflict, unprecedented risk of complete collapse of the health sector. The tragic events are escalating as hospitals are shutting one after the other. Most major and specialized hospitals have been forced to evacuate their staff by warring military forces or targeted by shelling. Others are facing shortages of medical supplies, personnel, water, and electricity, and are also at risk of complete shutdown.
We urgently call on the international community, Sudan's friends, humanitarian, and regional organizations to intervene and help mitigate this humanitarian disaster. We also call on the fighting parties to immediately ceasefire.
