Ramadan Break and the Law

According to Education Law that commenced 1st January 1964 and which still operates in all northern states except Kogi, the Governor may, among other powers, determine “holidays and the dates of opening and closing institutions”.

Therefore, what some northern states did regarding Ramadan break is therefore in order.
