Every month we take about 50 trades inside the HippoTrades Telegram.

Sometimes I get asked why I don't post every individual trade on X.

The reason is that a single trade tells you nothing about whether someone is a profitable trader. One winner can be luck. One loser doesn't mean the strategy is bad. Trading is about executing the same process over and over again and judging the results over a large sample.

Social media rewards the biggest winners. You see the 10R trade, but you don't see the three break-even trades, the two full stop losses, or the dozens of trades that were managed according to plan. Without that context, individual trade posts create a completely distorted picture of what trading actually looks like.

The same applies to my own trading. I have no interest in proving myself by posting isolated winners or explaining away losers. What matters is whether the strategy continues to produce positive results over months and hundreds of trades while following the exact same rules.

That is also why, inside HippoTrades, members don't just see entries. They see the complete trade management, the winners, the losers, the partial take profits and the trades that simply never work out. That's the only way to evaluate whether a trading approach actually has an edge.

Three trades so far in July and we're up 14R.

We scaled out along the way instead of trying to catch the exact top or bottom. Once risk is reduced, it's much easier to let the remaining position play out and see what the market is willing to give.

Most trades never make it all the way to the final target. These did.

You can tell how much effort and planning goes into every session just so we can actually understand and apply it.
This isn't someone doing the bare minimum. Hes extremely hard working and genuinely cares about us. Always going beyond whats expected , making sure we're improving.
