He was known especially for his beautiful Fajr Adhan and for serving among the muezzins of the Sacred Mosque.

May Allah forgive him, have mercy on him, and grant him the highest level of Jannatul Firdaus. 🤲🏽🕋

Dear @FirstBankngr Compliance Department,

I am writing to formally express my outrage and deep concern regarding the wrongful disputes and subsequent restrictions placed on multiple bank accounts as a result of transactions handled by First Bank under Western Union NGN payouts.

Western Union has clearly confirmed to us that all the transfers in question are legitimate, successful, and fully completed transactions. They also confirmed that they did NOT issue any instruction to First Bank to dispute these payments.

However, on Friday, First Bank proceeded to dispute several @WesternUnion NGN transfers made to various Nigerian banks. As you are fully aware, First Bank is the official partner responsible for handling Western Union Naira transactions in Nigeria. It is therefore shocking and unacceptable that payments processed under your supervision are now being flagged and reversed without lawful justification.
To further clarify:

1Transfers sent from First Bank (Western Union payouts) to @UBAGroup were reviewed by UBA, cleared within 24 hours, and all restrictions were lifted. This clearly confirms that the transactions were legitimate.
2Despite this, @myaccessbank , @fidelitybankplc , @Ecobank_Nigeria and @gtbank, @sterling_bankng, @StanbicIBTC, @LotusBank, @wemabank accounts remain restricted.
3Some of these banks have even debited our balances and placed the accounts in negative, causing severe financial damage and reputational harm.
This situation is unjust, financially damaging, and unacceptable.
If this matter is not resolved immediately with:

•Full reversal of all wrongful disputes
•Removal of all restrictions
•Restoration of all debited funds
We will have no option but to escalate this issue formally to the Central Bank of Nigeria @cenbank , the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission @officialEFCC , @western Compliance International escalation, and other relevant regulatory authorities for investigation into this conduct.
We demand an urgent written explanation stating:

•On whose authority these disputes were initiated
•The legal basis for disputing completed Western Union transactions
•Why other banks have cleared the same transfers while restrictions remain elsewhere.

This matter requires immediate resolution. We expect a prompt response within 24-48 hours.

HOW TO PRAY SALATUL JANAZA.

1- After the First Takbeer: Recite Surat Al-Fatiha.

1. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
2. Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen
3. Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem
4. Maaliki Yawmid-Deen
5. Iyyaaka na'budu wa lyyaaka nasta'een
6. Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mustaqeem
7. Siraatal-lazeena an'amta 'alaihim ghayril- maghdoobi 'alaihim wa lad-daaalleen

2- After the Second Takbeer: Salat Al-Ibrahimiyya to the end.

Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa sallayta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed. Allaahumma baarik 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa baarakta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed.

3- After the Third Takbeer: Pray for the dead but according to how it was narrated from our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and Peace be upon him). Yaa Allah! forgive our living and our dead, those who are with us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our menfolk and our womenfolk. Any of your local language/ tribe

Yaa Allah, whomever you give life from among us give him life in Islam, and whomever you take way from us take him away in Faith. Yaa Allah, do not forbid us their reward and do not send us astray after them.

4- Lastly after the 4th Takbeer: And you should pray for all Muslims.

5- And Finally end the prayer with one Salaam to the right (Just once).

May Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) forgive our shortcomings, and our dead ones.

May Allah grant us Jannatul Firdaus. Amen🙏 Everyone / . Friendss

For those who do not understand why Sheikh Gumi carries so much influence in Nigeria, and why he speaks so boldly about bandits, even appearing to defend them, you need to look at his background.

Sheikh Gumi is a retired Captain of the Nigerian Army.

This single fact explains a lot.

This is not an ordinary cleric speaking from the sidelines. This is a man who understands military structure, protocol, and strategy.

He knows how the system works, and how conflicts are managed, prolonged, or quietly tolerated.

He is one of the few people in Nigeria who openly advocates for negotiating with bandits and terrorists

And When you watch him carefully, one thing stands out: he is not afraid.

Men who are not afraid usually have reasons.

He speaks with the confidence of someone who knows the networks, protection, and persistence of bandits.

He positions himself as a mediator, even an advocate.

He may appear sympathetic but that calmness is built on knowledge and experience ordinary people do not have.

Do not be distracted by tone or religious language.

A retired military officer speaking this way in public is telling you that the problem is deeper and more entrenched than most imagine.

He knows something deeper than a mere social post.
And I honestly think the federal government should start paying closer attention to him.

At this point, no stone should be left unturned.

The federal government should invite him, question him directly, ask why he appears to advocate for bandits and terrorists, and quietly gather whatever intelligence they can from his answers.

Unless the government already knows exactly what he is saying and is simply using public silence as camouflage.

But whatever the case, voices like this should never be ignored.
