General Musa should bring evidence, not accusations @elrufai is miles ahead of him in leadership and achievements, and he can never match what El-Rufai has accomplished.
The only compensation Atiku will do to Elrufai is by pointing him as:
Chief of staff to the president
Secretary to the government of the Federation
National security advisor
All of Bola’s media aides have issued a coordinated tweet on the FBI case this evening. Meanwhile, Bola is also reportedly in Europe to lobby against its release. The presidency has never been on their toes since 2023, until this week. Never realised they had such a work rate.
This guy has forgotten he was an officer..now, he lies like a politician with zero integrity. He has become a full blown politician who only knows how to deceive. He provided an example that any1 could easily find on Google, yet he says it on national television. He is shameless.
This is unprofessional from the Minister of Defence.🤦
He seems to have forgotten that he is not just an ordinary minister, but one whose office is responsible for the security and peace of the nation.
Calling out El-Rufai in this manner is careless.
Did you know that Christopher Musa was the “ONLY” appointment that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai begged for purposely for the sake of ending insecurity in Southern Kaduna, immediately after Tinubu won election before he was sworn in.
Mallam El-Rufai begged for him to be COAS but Tinubu gave him CDS.
I will say this again the only thing Mallam Nasir El-Rufai didn't do end insecurity in Southern kaduna was pay the elders of SK, and massage their egos!
He’s not even a politician but he understood that elrufai was just a governor of kaduna north or rather kaduna central, zone 2 kenan
Ask any southern kaduna person he will tell u how they were treated like non indigenes of kaduna state, no appointment,no infrastructure, nothing,as if they don’t exist,
But @ubasanius the unifier came and changed everything
Gave them several appointments, commissioners, aids,Ssa’s,Dg’s nd many more appointments for the southern people
Believe it or not
Wallahi uba sani is a real politician that brought about unity nd inclusion of everyone, that’s why he is loved by all the three zones citizens.
There are political comments, and then there are comments rooted in religious hatred. What the minister said is not just a political comment but stems from religious hatred towards some of our politicians. If you believe that comment was because Elrufai is in the opposition today, then you haven't been paying attention to what this religious bigot has been doing in this country. They are everywhere; they see you as Elrufai even if you are in the APC and any time your interests don't align, they will reveal their true nature. I am here to tell you, no one is safe from their hatred.
Mind you, when El-Rufai was there, this mumu motivational speaker was a Brigadier General, and then Major General, What did he do to make sure that his people were secured?
Remember, it was during this same man’s tenure as the CDS that our troops became so cowardly after the death of Lagbaja that negotiating dialogue with terrorists became a norm in Northern Nigeria.
He should come out and tell us, as the indigene of Kaduna, what did he propose as a General to Governor El-Rufai that El-Rufai refused to implement to ensure the end of terrorism in southern Kaduna?
He was the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai when El-Rufai was governor. How did he contribute to bringing peace to Southern Kaduna?
He was also Commander of the Nigerian Army Infantry Corps when Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was governor of Kaduna State. What was his contribution?
Nigeria has gone so bad that a general can sit comfortably and point fingers at a governor to hide his sheer incompetence in service.
This is so, so low!
Wallahi ni dama C.G Musa bai taba birgeni ba, even when you guys were all here hyping him deep down I knew he was nothing but a good public speaker, zero workings.
Whether we are in the same political party with Malam Nasir El-Rufai or not is beside the point.
What the Minister of Defence said on national television about a former Minister and former Governor who has served this country in different capacities was completely unnecessary and beneath the office he occupies.
You may disagree with El-Rufai politically. You may challenge his policies, record or opinions. But throwing terrorism allegations at him because you are a Christian from Southern Kaduna is foolishness and a lack of political substance. This is not how to gain political influence, Village Man.
Gen. Christopher Musa has no moral high ground to stand on a live TV set and accuse Nasir El-Rufai of “deliberately planning the killing of our people.” That statement is not statesmanship. It is a serving Defence Minister turning a live broadcast into ethnic score-settling while the body count under his own watch remains unfinished. CG Musa was Chief of Defence Staff from June 2023 to October 2025. In that period he promised, on camera, that Bello Turji would be taken “within the shortest possible time.” Turji is still operating. Banditry in Katsina intensified. New groups like Lakurawa and Mahmuda emerged. The Yelwata massacre in Benue happened on his watch. Plateau and Nasarawa kept bleeding. He later blamed the victims’ own communities for “harbouring” the attackers and even “giving them women.” That is not leadership. That is deflection.
Then there is Tudun Biri in Kaduna , his own home state. A military drone strike killed dozens of civilians, including women and children at worship. Two years later there has been no accountability that satisfies the families. A man who presided over that incident now lectures the country about who “planned” killings.
He was removed as CDS in the October 2025 service-chiefs shake-up. Weeks later he was recycled as Minister of Defence. The insecurity he failed to end as the highest-ranking uniformed officer did not magically disappear because he changed into agbada. Kidnappings continue. Communities in the North-West and North-Central are still paying the price. Rating the government’s security performance 65–70 percent while villages are still being emptied is not honesty. It is public-relations arithmetic.
CG Musa’s record as CDS is also on the public record: unfulfilled promises, civilian deaths from military action, kingpins still at large, and a pattern of disappearing during crises only to reappear with motivational speeches. One does not cancel the other. Both can be examined at the same time.
A Defence Minister who spent more than two years as CDS without delivering the results he promised has no business accusing anyone else of “deliberately planning” the death of Nigerians. Fix the insecurity first. The speeches can wait.
