“Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ ‘O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’” ~ Qur’an 39:53
Dear Elon Musk, I'm paying for this X subscription every month, and you're not paying me anything in return. Is this fair?
You check am na...if na you, shey you go like am ?
Someone just brought to my attention that @ARISEtv read my post live on air!
Pls they shouldn't tempt me into taking political commentary more seriously. I might just start giving them more content to work with. 😂
But honestly, I prefer to stay within my military and security niche. Biko, let me focus on celebrating our generals, soldiers, security personnel and ordinary Nigerians making a difference. Both Patriots in uniform and civilians doing extraordinary things deserve to have their stories told and celebrated too. 😅
I carry a simple black school bag around Abuja, not because I have plenty of important things to put inside it, but partly because it houses my little umbrella. ☔
You see, Abuja rain can embarrass you at any time, so I always try to stay prepared.
But guess what? Rain has flogged me again today! And the funny part is that I left my umbrella bag at home because, I wore a white gaftan today and from my experience and observations, it hardly ever rains on Friday afternoons, especially with the kind of scorching sun we had earlier.
Abuja weather has officially defeated me.
You see why I genuinely need that Toyota Corolla but still can't afford one? 😂😭
ISWAP clearly underestimated the fighting capacity and readiness of our troops at Buni Yadi. What a performance by our gallant soldiers! Anyone troubled by the success of our troops in Buni Yadi should probably ask themselves whose side they're on.
Credit to the men on the frontline. Keep the pressure on.

Some people spend money trying to look wealthy, while others focus on building the wealth they want people to see. Learn to prioritise building your finances over impressing people.
The man travelled to South Africa and left his wife pregnant. By the time xenophobia chased him back to Nigeria, he returned home to meet his wife with two extra children, and she claimed they were all his! 😭😂

There's something about the Karshi-Apo stretch that makes you want to keep driving, clear your head and enjoy the moment.
Sometimes, you don't need a destination. You just need an open road, beautiful scenery and a little peace of mind. ❤️
This road is Therapeutic.
Captain Ariane Mwiza, a remarkable helicopter pilot in the Rwanda Defence Force whose story deserves to be celebrated across Africa.
Inspired by Rwanda's liberation struggle, she pursued her dream of becoming a military pilot, graduating from Akagera Aviation in 2016 with the distinction of Best Check Ride Performer among her graduating pilots.
Her journey took her beyond Rwanda's borders to South Sudan, where she served as a helicopter co-pilot with the United Nations peacekeeping mission. In a demanding profession where women remain underrepresented, she has demonstrated that courage, competence and determination are not defined by gender.
What makes her story even more inspiring is her commitment to encouraging young African women to pursue careers in aviation and the military.
Captain Mwiza represents the professionalism, courage and dedication that deserve recognition. She is a reminder that Africa's women are not merely watching history unfold; they are taking the controls and helping shape its future.
A proud daughter of Rwanda, an inspiration to African women, and a salute to the men and women serving their Nations with distinction. 🇷🇼❤️🫡
Hope Uzodinma’s decision to chase a Senate seat while still sitting as governor of Imo, with more than a year left on his tenure, is one of the boldest political miscalculations of this cycle.
He still has until January 2028 as governor. The next Senate is expected to be inaugurated around June 2027. Instead of finishing his term, locking down Imo solidly for the APC and President Tinubu, maintaining smooth relations with sitting senators and the Presidency, and then positioning himself for a juicy appointment after 2028, he chose to open multiple fronts at once. That alternative path would almost certainly have paid him better and carried far less risk. Now he is fighting on every side at the same time.
On one front, he is expected to help wrestle a credible percentage ideally 25 percent or more from Peter Obi’s strong Southeast base in favour of President Tinubu in Imo. That alone is not a light assignment.
On another front is Rochas Okorocha, who sees this as his chance to return to the Senate from Imo West. The primary already produced conflicting claims, and just today a Federal High Court in Abuja nullified Uzodinma’s emergence as the APC candidate, ordered him to stop parading himself as such, and directed that Okorocha’s name be recognised instead. Whether that ruling stands or is overturned on appeal, the ticket is now firmly in the courts and the political mud.
Then there is Godswill Akpabio. Uzodinma has been quietly positioned in some circles as a possible successor or rival for the Senate Presidency in the next Assembly. That alone makes Akpabio a natural adversary. If Hope loses the Senate battle outright, the same Senate that would have to clear him for any ministerial appointment later could simply refuse to do so. He could find himself politically stranded.
At the root of much of the hostility sits Nyesom Wike and his coalition. They see Hope as one of the figures who gave Siminalayi Fubara the confidence to push back in Rivers. For Wike, that is personal. Anyone who has watched him knows he does not do half measures. He will go the extra mile legally, politically, and through every available network to frustrate those he considers rivals or obstacles. He is a political operator who treats enemies with sustained pressure rather than temporary disagreement. To top it up his influence in the judiciary is very massive.
From the state to the Senate ticket, from the Senate ticket to Aso Rock calculations, and from Aso Rock back to the ministerial clearance process, the interests lined up against this move are many. Unless whoever is rooting for him in the Villa has direct, consistent access to the President’s ear, this will be one of the most difficult battles he has fought. He is in for a long ride.
Fingers crossed. We are all watching.
@Rise_Forge The last time I visited Abuja, my cousin who drives told me he makes nothing less than ₦25-30k daily. That conversation alone showed me there's real potential in commercial driving, especially when you own the car and manage your expenses well.
Thank you for this. I've said it several times, and people think I don't know what I'm saying: logistics and commercial driving is very lucrative, especially in cities like Abuja and Lagos, although it is not easy and it can be frustrating.
But as a young man trying to find your feet, build capital and eventually establish an empire, driving Uber isn't a waste of time. Especially If you own the car and no pressure of remitting weekly or monthly balance, why just cruise around for pleasure when it can also generate income?
Of course, with today's fuel prices, maintenance and other expenses, ₦150k daily isn't guaranteed profit (not possible). But with a good strategy, discipline and consistency, you can build serious capital, diversify into other businesses and use commercial driving as your starting point.
Omo, that Abuja airport alone is a serious market! Despite the competition, people are constantly arriving, departing and moving around the city on a daily basis.
People underestimate ride-hailing, but transportation is a business built around a daily human need. That business can make you a millionaire within a year trust me.
Sometimes, the first step towards building an empire isn't a fancy office. It's putting an asset to work and making your money work for you.
Yes oh, 12 whole years! 😂
Although I wasn't stagnant during those years, as I was involved in other activities, learning, growing and bettering myself, my heart remained fixed on that dream for 12 consecutive years.
But that's life. It's time to move forward, keep building and embrace new possibilities. My failures have taught me something important: with passion, determination and the willingness to give something my all, there's so much I can still achieve in this life.
I wasn't a failure; things simply didn't work out the way I had hoped. Maybe that path wasn't meant for me, and that's okay. Life goes on, and so must I.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I truly appreciate them. 🙏🏽
