Zambia experience on the effects of Climate Change shared with the Scottish Government. Plea for the developed country like Scotland to raise its ambitions and reduce on emissions @caritaszambia@MbobaBen thank you. @CathClimateMvmt
For a very long time, SCIAF partners across the world have been calling for @scotgov to reduce emissions by 100% to prevent a climate catastrophe. Today, the Scottish Government heard these cries and promised to set a #netzero target by 2045 @lchiti1@MusambaClint8#oorfuture

@caritaszambia@SDGaction@SDGoals @diegomartsch
@RoryStewartUK Some good ideas but:
1) 2050 is far too late+ need strong 2030 interim target.
2) Don’t take from aid package to increase climate finance; climate finance should be in addition to aid. From eg. reallocation of fossil fuel subsidies.
3) Energy & agriculture transformation needed.
