Not everything that sounds good is true. Scripture tells us: “Test all things; hold fast what is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21, NKJV). The Word of God is the ultimate test strip for truth—if it doesn’t line up with His Word, it doesn’t hold up.

That includes culture, friends, AND even pastors, ministers, priests, or trusted leaders. They can be a blessing, but they too must be tested against Scripture. God’s Word is the final authority—always.

So when life throws opinions your way, don’t just lean on human wisdom. Test it. Compare it. Hold fast to what’s good.
