I tend to believe that this novel is going to be about 35 chapters long. When I first started, I originally thought this book would be about 80,000 words long and maybe about 18 chapters. Now it’s more than doubled in size. It’s amazing how huge this project has gotten!

Also… the novel is a blend of genres. There’s love, romance, suspense, thrill, culture, genealogy, and lots and lots of comedy, in particular BLUE comedy. 🎭 My guess is that the book will be on a list of banned books because there’s a lot of crude jokes and sexual innuendos.

My fairytale novel has now reached 222,000 words… and I’m still not done with it. My guess is that when I’m done with it, it will be around 260,000-280,000 words. This is going to be one fat novel…almost like a Harry Potter novel.

Some people are asking me what my novel is about. Well, I can’t give out many details yet. But let’s just say, it’s a modern fairy tale novel that’s loosely based on the Cinderella fairytale and New Mexican cuisine. The novel blends French with New Mexican culture.
