15 September: #OTD in 1773 the Hector, with 12 Camerons among the 189 Scottish passengers, dropped anchor at #Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada. The voyage across the Atlantic had taken 18 lives. Hector is considered to be the Scottish-Canadian "Mayflower."
