We’re preparing our next exhibition Fashion in Anne Lister’s Time (1791-1840) and we’re looking to include a quote from Anne’s diaries where she comments on men’s fashion. Not necessarily about her wearing it but her opinion on what men wore at the time. Have you seen one?
We're on the lookout for a new Museums Assistant to work across Calderdale Museums supporting the work of the Collections Team!

On this day in 1840 Anne Lister passed away in Koutais, Georgia. Today her legacy lives on through her house, her diaries and all the many people who share, identify and enjoy learning more about her.
Thank you Anne.
