🟣Remember when they told us bond notes were “backed by an Afreximbank facility”?

They lied that the Afreximbank loan would guarantee that the bond notes in circulation could be convertible at 1:1 with the US.

They even lied that they would not issue bond notes in excess of US$200 million which was the value of the “Afreximbank facility.”

Where are we today?

Bond notes are not convertible at 1:1 with the USD.

Nobody knows what became of the Afreximbank facility.

200 million bond notes is now worth a measly US$5,000.

So if they tell you that the new structured currency is “backed by gold” just know that they will shift goal posts when they need to print more. The “gold backing” will fall away just as the Afreximbank facility did.

The structured currency will crash just like all their other currency experiments.

It’s a mess.
