"Mathematicians did not ask for this work to be done" might become one of the historical quotes from this era, perfectly depicting the downfall of academia
The jelly world just got its own kingdom 🏰🍮
Claude Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6 Astra - same prompt, two tiny jelly kingdoms
Opus wins this one for me. I prefer its water physics and waterfall - the splashes and spreading ripples make the whole scene feel more alive. A little fairytale island you could watch for way too long
Astra’s layered island looks like a birthday cake. Less “defend the kingdom,” more “please don’t eat the kingdom”
Estimated API cost:
Opus - $13.30
Astra - $12.62
Which jelly kingdom would you visit?

When galaxies collide, the stars almost never hit each other. Space is that empty. Gravity does all the damage: tides pull out long tails and bridges. I built a 262k star simulator of it, based on Toomre & Toomre (1972).
Built with Opus 5.5 using Three.js and Blender.
