Former Boulder Elementary School Employee Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges Following Months-Long Investigation
BOULDER, Colo. | October 9, 2026
A 34-year-old Boulder man who previously worked for the Boulder Valley School District has been arrested following a months-long police investigation involving allegations of stalking, invasion of privacy, burglary and child sexual exploitation.
David Wise, a former School Age Care (SAC) supervisor at Mesa Elementary School, surrendered to the Boulder County Jail Friday afternoon, according to information reported by FOX31.
Investigators say the alleged offenses occurred between February 2024 and August 2026 at several locations in downtown Boulder.
Investigation Uncovers Multiple Alleged Victims
According to information released by authorities, a recent tip helped Boulder Police detectives identify a potential suspect and obtain additional photographs and evidence.
Investigators reported that multiple alleged victims were unaware they had been watched until police contacted them.
A subsequent search of Wiseβs electronic devices reportedly uncovered suspected child sexual abuse material believed to have been downloaded from the internet.
Authorities have indicated that additional charges are possible as the investigation continues.
Multiple Criminal Charges Filed
Wise was booked into the Boulder County Jail on the following charges:
* 10 counts of invasion of privacy for sexual gratification
* Two counts of felony stalking
* Felony sexual exploitation of a child
* Felony second-degree burglary
The charges remain allegations, and Wise is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
School District Terminates Employment
Mesa Elementary School Principal Josh Baldner notified families Friday about Wiseβs arrest and the districtβs response.
According to Baldner, Wise began working for the Boulder Valley School District on October 23, 2024.
He was placed on leave August 25, 2026, after district officials learned of the police investigation.
Following the announcement of criminal charges Friday, the district terminated his employment.
Baldner confirmed Wise is no longer employed by BVSD.
The principal stated that Mesa Elementary and the district have cooperated fully with law enforcement throughout the investigation.
βNothing is more important than the safety of our students and we are deeply troubled by these charges,β Baldner wrote to families.
Police have not reported evidence establishing whether any Boulder Valley School District students were victims.

We are a people starving for justice.
π£οΈPeople against a public execution: βWe as humans werenβt meant to experience viewing such violence. Seeing a person die will haunt you.β, etc.
No, we *werenβt* meant to experience viewing such violence. But we see it every single day, due to these monsters committing acts of terror, mass shootings, political assassinations, attempted political assassinations, groups of thugs beating, shooting, stomping, stabbing the elderly and helpless people, setting women on fire in subways, stabbing innocent young women on trains, minding their own business, attempting to behead people in the streetsβ¦.. we see the phone camera footage of bystanders, news coverage and surveillance videos of these heinous acts REGULARLY. Played over and over on an endless loop on the news and social media.
Unfortunately some have become numb to it, while many of us are haunted by those gruesome videos and images of innocents being harmed by evil people. A young woman bleeding out on a train, a man brutally sawing a manβs neck in an attempt to behead him, a woman being burned alive with her flesh melting off her skeleton, a man simply going to work as a healthcare company CEO, stalked and assassinated by a bitter activist trying to make a point, a young father and husband with blood gushing out of his neck, all for daring to use his words, and offer others a chance to debate their differences.
And there are so many other cases of violence we have witnessed through the medium of television and social media.
But this time, during the live-streaming of a public execution of one of these violent monsters, we will be seeing the βviolenceβ through the lens of righteous justice and retribution for a change. Something we get far too little of as a society. We are a people starving for justice, after so many cases where we were robbed of it, thanks to open borders and soft on crime activist judges and politicians.
I for one wonβt be haunted one single bit by the execution. In fact, I will sleep like a baby, knowing that in at least this one case of horrendous terror, justice was finally served.
