Today's @ARUA_News 4th Annual Distinguished Public Lecture featured the presentation of Prof. Leon Mutesa, under the theme "Innovations and Capacity Building in Biomanufacturing to Address Health System Gaps in Africa" . Prof Mutesa highlighted the importance of research, innovation and local medicine production in strengthening Africa’s health systems.

The event also marked the launch of research profiles for 23 ARUA member universities, highlighting opportunities to strengthen PhD training, promote gender inclusion in research and deepen collaboration among African universities to address the continent’s health and development challenges.
