Another suggestion is by octave of root chords. This is best shown in the diagram below. These two will be experimented with future builds. Everyone’s approach to learning by ear is different so we would love to hear from you guys! (2/2)

We’re looking into ways to more easily show the information on chords gathered. So far, we believe that dividing ‘root chords’ from chord progressions into ‘sub chords’, displaying each possible variant e.g. C Major being the root chord with Cmaj7 as a ‘sub chord’. (1/2)
