I swear there’s more “composer coaches” now than actual working composers. The sheer amount of ppl selling you vague secondhand “professional” advice to “make it” when they themselves never managed to have a successful career in the field is astounding. It’s a pyramid scheme.

The more I’ve made music, the more I’ve realized I can’t do it all on my own.

You’d think it’d be the opposite (more experience = more skills to do it all solo).

But the more I’ve done, the more I realize how others’ skills/eyes/ears/feedback can bring so much to the table.
