We have arrived at the Jardin de Luxembourg in Paris and the stage is set for concert number 2.
It is a lovely setting within site of the Eiffel Tower and a lot of people are out and we are attracting interest.
Weather is beautiful as well.
41 students on board plus instruments and cases. We are good to go and on our way for a fab weekend and the first Springwood Music Tour in a decade.

The stage is set for our 3rd annual Community Music Festival.We kick off with our Rock and Pop night tonight at 6.30pm then, we follow that with:
Tues: Orchestras, Brass Bands and Concert Bands, 6.30pm
Weds: Small Ensembles and Jazz Groups, 6.30pm
Thurs:A Choral Celebration, 6pm

ADMISSION IS FREE
Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy some wonderful music, completely free of charge

NEW COMMUNITY BAND IN KINGS LYNN
Following correspondence and interest from a number of individuals and players in the West Norfolk area Springwood and the West Norfolk Academies Trust are launching the Kings Lynn Community Band.
The band's first performance is planned for Thursday 6 July as part of the finale for the WNAT 'Community Music Week'. with a rehearsal the previous Sunday (2nd July). Open to all Wind, Brass, String and Percussion players, grade 4+ of all ages
