@CassRMorris I've seen someone say that the whalebone used in historical corsets is about as flexible as those white plastic zip ties today. And depending on the style a lot of corsets flared out and had soft padding to make the proportions between waist and hip larger for emphasis.
@tinashakour @CassRMorris Victorians could have very big pockets! Bernadette Banner remade a Victorian walking skirt from a pattern from that time and says that the pockets had to be large enough to fit fabric scissors which are a pretty decent size. @mowquincy@lostthethread Theres an app called 'knitting stitches' that puts the stitches into different categories (lace,rib,cables,textured) so you can see pictures of the finished stitch and then it shows you how to do them! Very helpful!

@ELangfordMusic Had mine removed at 17, the pain was unreal and have a small one growing now, 10y later. Try using a wrist support while playing but let it move when you're not using it so much. And painkillers? The surgery was a godsend for me tbh. X
