On Thursday 21st May the Music Department held our final Spring Recital of the year, which this time featured some of our talented Year 7 students. A real range of music and styles was on show as students took to the Performance Space stage to perform their chosen pieces. They were cheered on by a fantastic audience of friends and family and each student performed superbly.
The Music Department would like to congratulate all of the students who have taken part in one of our recitals this Spring. With over 120 students from Years 7-11 taking part in our 4 events, it has been a record breaking year. We now look forward to our Young Musician of the Year competition in June and our Summer Concert on 9th July, before finishing the academic year with our annual Music Tour to Europe.

Unbelievably proud of the music students at @wcscschool . Over 190 took part in our Christmas Concert today and a sell out audience of 350+ enjoyed fantastic performances from all the groups (Orchestra, Big Band etc). Well done to all involved. #proudteachers#music
A huge well done to our @wcscschool music and music tech students who smashed it! Outstanding results for both courses (including 2/3rds of the GCSE students getting a grade 9-7!). Very very proud teachers.
What an amazing time we have had on the @wcscschool Paris Music Tour 2025. 3 amazing concerts, a river cruise, excursions and Disney all in one week! Amazing! All of the 80 students have been superb and made 8 teachers very proud!
