Our Choir rehearsals for Britten's St Nicolas with @vivamuschoir, @hertsmusic, @GrahamNeal1 & @RufusFrowde are going brilliantly. Don't miss this @Hitchinfestival performance @stmaryshitchin_. https://t.co/W0qZ6JDiay

A glimpse of @EngChmChoir @Hitchinfestival. @RufusFrowde dedicated 'Love Divine' to @GuyProtheroe & Ann, celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary. This première @stmaryshitchin was almost 50 years to the day after they were married in the same church.

Huge thanks to @TPS_musicdept and Dacorum Community Choir for the loan of microphones and a PA system, enabling Year 6 to shine in their production of 'Wind in the Willows'. Community spirit overcame the exhausting financial challenges of music education.

What a treat to hear so many young performers last night @HMSNorthHerts Recital Evening. We are delighted that so many @SamlucasJMI pupils were involved. Thanks to @hertsmusic for creating these invaluable opportunities for our young musicians.

I was so proud of the children at Samuel Lucas JMI School Year 5 & 6 Carol Festival that I want to share a recording that we have put together of my arrangement of our opening carol, alongside their poetry and artwork. I wish you all a peaceful Christmas. https://t.co/yAzn8ofUcg

In January '24, I become Artistic Director of The English Chamber Choir (@EngChmChoir), succeeding @GuyProtheroe who has been with the choir since 1972. Guy becomes Conductor Emeritus. In due course, I look forward to sharing more about our future plans. #choir #ClassicalMusic

@vivamuschoir & one of Britain’s finest period instrument orchestras @TheHanoverBand join me Sat. 13 May (7pm) @StJPiccadilly. Alongside Handel, Purcell & Tavener the concert includes the London premiere of my uplifting choral triptych 'Were I not to sing' - I rather like it...

A month ago, I took my new Coronation organ piece to Westminster Abbey for a test drive. Here are the last two minutes of it:

Conducting great music @RoyalAlbertHall will always be a thrill. The human element of doing this with thousands of talented children & young people takes this to a level of fulfilment where words fail and tears flow. #hertsschoolsgala @hertsmusic @hertscc
