PYOTR TCHAIKOVSKY
(1840 - 1893)

He was the most popular of all Russian composers and virtuoso pianist. He wrote melodies which were usually dramatic and emotional. His famous ballets are Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.

FREDERIC CHOPIN
(1810 - 1849)

He was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist. He is considered one of the greatest Romantic piano composers. Most of Chopin's works are for solo piano and often technically difficult.
