That was the song I went away from my only Stones concert being the most wowed by.

Stumbled upon a #Prince concert from Utrecht, Netherlands from June 20, 1987, so one day off 39 years ago.
(Disc 7 & 8 of this 8-disc set).
Such a great artist.
Saw him once at the Orpheum in 2002 the but he was in a phase of largely not performing hits.

Enjoying Paul McCartney’s The Boys of Dungeon Lane album.
He still has a good voice and his songwriting prowess shows through. His style may seem formulaic but he knows how to craft pop songs. It’s an art.

Cool to hear Paul McCartney has a new album out, and that he’s interviewed on a fav podcast of mine: The Rest is History.
Curious bit includes him saying Shakespeare influenced his songwriting, via rhyming couplets.

The closing of the live version of "Sultans of Swing" is one of the most memorable moments in Dire Straits' history.

Recorded on "A Night in London" (1996), this performance features an instrumental ending of about three minutes that does not appear on the studio recording, and that's precisely where the magic happens.
