Desert Racer

Bemused traveller attempting to go to every country on earth... regularly in obscure places and wondering why. Next major stop - the North Pole...

[Desert Racer @MusingTraveller]

@Al_Humphreys I can possibly help intro you (Paul G from BX if you are wondering!)

If losing my bag & not delivering it as promised wasn't enough, after waiting 30 mins on hold, @AmericanAir then disconnects... Joke service

[Desert Racer @MusingTraveller]

@ProjectOverland Hi - good work on this! Wondering if we can chat about your Twitter handle and whether I could have it for a donation? Tks

[Desert Racer @MusingTraveller]

@joostbrinkman I am pretty sure I stole this from someone... :-)

Only 48 hours to go before the 'other' toughest race on earth for @VSOUK. 260km in sand, in 50c heat, carry 10kg. Hmm

@scottexpedition @polarben Try Cherry-Gerrard's 'The Worst Journey in the World' :-). Good words to weight ratio too. Good luck!!

[Desert Racer @MusingTraveller]

@DaveHow4rd Was pathetic. Far more police than protesters (30 at most?). Certainly not catalysts for change!

[Desert Racer @MusingTraveller]

@NigelVardy haha... I am quite rubbish at anything technical, so still tough. Yes, you are special Nige... Why you have good tales to tell!
