With the ceasefire finally in place, hope is finding its way back.
Two years changed everything about our lives, but not my mission.
I became a father, and soon another baby will arrive.
Through it all, I kept cooking for the children, for the families still holding on.

I’ll keep cooking for every child until the last one of them returns to their rebuilt home, safe and sound, feeling home again.
Until then, I’ll keep cooking with whatever I can find.
My goal now is to visit every displacement camp in Gaza, to cook for the people there, and to bring them cooking tools and supplies whenever possible.

This time I cooked macaroni, mushrooms, corn, and some poor cheese.
It wasn’t perfect, but their smiles made it enough.

Today the journalist, Saleh Aljafarawi, has been killed after surviving 2 years of the genocide in Gaza.

Saleh was full of hope, happiness, relief, and joy the day he announced the ceasefire. Today he was murdered.

The voice of Gaza. He was continually banned from social media and the evil occupation continued to target him and spew propaganda about him so they can murder him. Yet his voice still reached the world. Glory be to our martyrs.
