@harnidhish This movie does the mythology so well. There’s a VERY human detail to how the most fanciful aspects of the story are portrayed, arguably reflective of the themes of the literature. The movie builds and builds and once the payoffs start coming, you realize how well it works.

The #moana live action hate is way overblown. Saw it this evening and had a perfectly enjoyable time. Catherine Laga'aia does a wonderful job. The Rock was oddly wooden for a part he originated, tho. The music still stands even if the film doesn’t enter new territory.

@AndyHerren I had this happen at Scream 7. Saw the fan event on Thursday night - Appropriate cheers, claps, etc. RESPECTFUL. Went again Fri night - the four in front of us were just so flipping rude - as if they were performing. One guy kept explaining every plot point to his date. GTFO
