Rather than addressing meaningful concerns and fostering a love for the game by making it more accessible, you’re deflecting and boiling a sport down to being “highlight based”

Much of NBA media is already consumed by hot-take culture and taking away from presentation and accessibility and further leaning into that by saying it can be consumed through surface-level options such as social media is only going to make that worse

Just a bad look, in general, even if that isn’t the intention here

Even during the NBA Finals themselves, the lack of love invested into presentation could be felt

NBA media in general is always looking for headlines rather than breaking down the game it was built upon
