If you have been watching the Fuel Protests unfold in Ireland over the last week you might think this was the first time the state attacked peaceful protestors.
It wasn't.
For the last few years Irish people have been protesting against the massive demographic change happening to our country and the state came down on us with force, just like the farmers and truckers.
This is the reality of what's happening in Ireland.
I have no confidence in my government.
🚨#BREAKING: The woman who was randomly shot in the face 6 times and st*bbed to de*th while she was walking her dog in Atlanta GA has been identified as 40-year-old Lauren Bullis.
The suspect, “Olaolukitan Adon Abel” was also allegedly in the process of se*ually assaulting her before neighbors came to the scene.
Olaolukitan is charged with 3 other "completely random" shootings and the de*th of another woman.
We do not have to live like this.
To recap:
1. The EU Council blocked $40 billion to Hungary because it wouldn't give NGOs control over its courts.
2. The EU Court blocked Hungary from passing a FARA law to see whether NGOs there were funded by the EU.
3. The EU Council announced it would centralize voting power on EU accession to block Hungary from having a vote in the future if Orban won the election.
4. The EU flooded Hungary with political NGOs to back Magyar's campaign to oust Orban from power so Hungary would bend to the EU on Ukraine accession, mass immigration, MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+, etc.
5. Magyar wins, the EU immediately imposes a 27-point conditions list for Hungary to unblock the funds, including on Ukraine accession, mass immigration, MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+, etc.
6. The EU Commissioner comes out and says she's actually going to centralize voting power to cut out EU members like Hungary anyway.
NEW: CA gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer (D) releases an immigration platform that is radically left of Gov. Newsom. It includes:
- Abolish ICE
- Put ICE agents in jail & “treat them like the mob”.
- Bring those “kidnapped & detained by ICE back home.”
- Give CA AG power to imprison ICE agents & their leadership.
- Taxpayer funded legal representation & support for illegal aliens.
- Ignore a SCOTUS ruling that allows ICE to utilize to use race, language, job, and location to contribute to “reasonable suspicion” for immigration arrests, and instead, “California should take matters into our own hands and extend legal protections to its residents, despite the federal governments failure.”
“This is about our right as a state to protect our residents,” Steyer says.
FSD v14.3.1 review after 10 drives and many hours, here are my thoughts (it’s a great one)
- v14.3.1 feels like a big jump even compared to FSD v14.3, even for “just” a point release build. Everything’s polished and smoother overall as expected.
- Always after a big update or fundamental architecture changes, there will be a couple rough edges. I was very impressed with how solid FSD v14.3 was, and .1 added a lot of polish to it.
- First big thing I noticed with this build was improved lane bias and preference changes. Notably, v14.3 would like to sit toward the left lane on emptier highways, in my driving tonight I didn’t see any of that. Will drive a lot more tomorrow to verify.
- In FSD v14.3, a new feature introduced was a new P parking icon at your destination. At first with v14.3, it didn’t show for me, then it did majority of the time. With v14.3.1, it has shown every single time now. Something new in .1 is you can now select it and change the arrival type from parking lot to garage, street parking, curbside etc. Nice improvement and quick to change.
- As with v14.3, stop sign behavior is MUCH improved. It commits and doesn’t hesitate, no double stops I’ve seen and a smoother acceleration and deceleration curve, leading to a more comfortable drive. Notably, speed bumps and dip handling is also buttery smooth, great acceleration/deceleration curve as well.
- Gated parking lots. One thing I noticed today with gated lots and garages is that it pulls up to the ticket dispenser way quicker and in a better position than before. It’s close and centered, exactly where I’d pull up. Goes right away when gate opens too, 10/10 no notes.
Parking- This is a big change with FSD v14.3+. It now picks parking spots quicker and more decisive. With v14.3.1 it’s even better, it’s picking the first spot it sees and commits, and sometimes they are even corner spots which I personally love to avoid door dings. I saw a ton of corner spot parking today which is awesome. When it’s parking, it’s so quick to decide which spot to take, but sometimes once it starts pulling in the spot it’s a bit slow to finish the maneuver as well as a bit slow in parking lots sometimes now, the final 5 feet of the maneuver are the slowest understandably. I saw an instance of the twitchy steering wheel as well.
Spot selection is so improved it’s hard to even compare to v14.2.x. What a massive upgrade and the decision making is so fast and confident.
- Speed control was great on my drives tonight, mostly city but was behaving exactly how I would and expect of it now. Went perfectly with flow of traffic on the profiles I selected. Hurry mode is dialed in, and doesn’t sit in left lane, at least on the drives I did.
- So cool to have Grok integrated with navigation. Tesla Self Driving and Grok took me to 5 separate destinations earlier with ZERO input, I just pressed start FSD and it drove, parked, unparked and got me to each destination without any intervention. Definitely worth watching the video I posted earlier of it.
- Decision making and reaction times are next level as well, it reacted to multiple bad human drivers we encountered tonight extremely well and the reaction time is lightning fast. Will post some videos tomorrow of it reacting to other vehicles, its reasoning is fantastic.
Overall, what a big polish upgrade to an already excellent build. Really excited to drive it more extensively tomorrow. Thank you to the legends @Tesla_AI for the hard work getting another fantastic build out to us, this one’s phenomenal.
Here's my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.3.1. It feels polished vs 14.3 and it my opinion is ready for wide release.
• With 14.3.1, you can now tap on the new "P" parking icon and bring up your different parking options
• Mad Max mode on the highway feels slightly more conservative with top speed (favors low 80s more often), but will now get to the right lanes sooner to prepare for exiting the highway. In this first drive, Mad Max did not go above 83mph, despite no cars around me most of the time. Follow distance is also more comfortable. I like all these things.
• I'm having zero brake stabbing issues on 14.3.1, whereas I had a couple on my first drive with 14.3
• Urban lane selection is better vs 14.3
• Navigation routes and occasional parking alignment still need some work, but that's not a reason to hold back wide release.
It still surprises me how much quicker V14.3 reacts to things. If a car pulls out of a parking spot as you drive by, FSD hits the brakes before you even know what's going on. The 20% better reaction time is definitely noticeable.
Wow. FSD v14.3.1 drove me to 5 destinations that Grok inputted and navigated to with zero interventions.
Tesla Self Driving parked and unparked at each of the 5 destinations. @Tesla_AI
🚨 BOOM: Some American drivers are ECSTATIC for Elon Musk's Tesla semitruck
"Massive windows, the seat is right in the center. It's usually off to the side and they can't reach the buttons they need to."
"10 exterior cameras, obviously these massive screens. They're not inhaling the fumes of a diesel truck. The seat is no longer shaking. All things that are important for a good office or workplace."
"There are a lot of benefits and the drivers tell me they love it." @elonmusk 🔥
FSD v14.3.1 did an exceptional job with parking at Costco now.
It found the absolute first spot open, picked it quickly, and backed in perfectly.
Solid!
People don’t even know about the French Algerians. They just think there were a few French administrators in Algeria, but there were actually hundreds of thousands of French and they were all ethnically cleansed in a matter of years after independence.
