The MWA, through funds from the Clean Water Act, will be developing a watershed management plan. MWA has gathered valuable data on nonpoint-source pollution in the Musconetcong Watershed. We need your voice to put that data into action! https://t.co/eUfRHrsuR5
The MWA's Ryan Jiorle and Frank Nanna spent some time wading through the Musky and pulled nine tires from the river just upstream of the River Resource Center. Tires slowly break down in the river, creating a continuous strain on water quality in the long term.
The students of the SCA completed the construction of a new pedestrian bridge on the MWA Educational Trail. This project was a vital part of plans to expand and connect our trails. Special thanks to engineer Paul Schroeck for designing this structure for the community!
🐢🐢✨ The MWA's Frank Nanna has rescued two snapping turtles from the bridge over the Musconetcong in Asbury this morning; we encourage you to be on the lookout for wildlife deviating from their usual habits in response to the heavy rainfall and high water levels on the river.
Meet Patrick the snapping turtle, a beloved MWA family member! 🐢🌊
This magnificent creature was named by our Camp Musky kids, aged 5 and 6!
😍Come visit the Musconetcong River in Asbury and catch a glimpse of Patrick and a variety of other diverse wildlife!
