2. Since independence, our county has been overlooked by government policies, leading to significant marginalization.

3. Toady, we extend our gratitude to President @WilliamsRuto for prioritizing Samburu's road infrastructure development within just two years of his administration, making us feel included in Kenya's progress.

4. After the President meeting with Samburu leaders in November, we are excited about the announcement for upgrading the Maralal-Baragoi and Lerata -Wamba-Kisima roads to bitumen standards, with phased funding assured for their completion.

5. As your Senator, I have consistently championed the enhancement of these roads during the 12th and 13th Senate.

6. Our leadership reflects a strong commitment to ensuring that Samburu is a priority in the Government of Kenya's development agenda.
