Day 5: Loukia Sarroub fostered a fantastic discussion on factors that contribute to communal identity and ways to enhance student success, by reframing what literacy means in various Muslim American communities among Yemeni American and Iraqi youth

Day 4 ended strong with a discussion panel where we learned from Muslim parents and students. Their personal experiences in the Midwest and within the education setting were eye-opening and inspiring for our upcoming curriculum work. ✍
