@NaClDroog I have sufficient evidence to believe that it is the words of God. Therefore I would take it's words over a man's interpretation. If you don't believe it than don't. But saying its claim is of the same precedence regardless of truth of falsehood is just incorrect.

The Bible and Torah are textually defined as man’s inspired interpretation of God. The Quran structurally claims to be direct, verbatim audio dictation where the human had zero authorship or editorial input. The claims are absolutely not the same.

@NaClDroog Now we're going in circles. I haven't for once claimed that God wrote the Qur'an. Why do you keep repeating the same thing. All other scriptures claim that their scripture has divine inspiration, not verbatim God's words. Only some 'parts' of the Torah claim to be Gods words.

@NaClDroog This is how I know you've got no idea what you're talking about. The Quran explicitly states that it is The Words of Allah and talks in first person. God spoke these words verbatim which was then written down.
