@openidtry @DanaBenbow@TheNBPA Agree with part 2/. I was just trying to make the point that the NBA has no legal responsibility to do anything. I like that they are helping out, though. And, it would be great to see some individual players or teams adopt 3-4 of these players
@openidtry @DanaBenbow@TheNBPA I agree with that point. But the NBA is including all former ABA players which is cool. Those directly hurt by the merger should get more IMO.
@customizeaplate @Dom_2k But what are the Lakers offering in return? If I am the Nets I don’t want RW. I need multiple 1st round picks and a couple of players... just for Kyrie. If I am the Nets, I tell KD and KE, we are running it back one more year.

@openidtry @DanaBenbow@TheNBPA 1/What are your thoughts on guys who were drafted by NBA teams but signed with the ABA. Never played for an NBA team and retired 4-5 years prior to the merger? Why does the NBA owe them anything ? I am glad the NBA is offering assistance , though and I agree
@LabGraduate@DanaBenbow The NBA has lessened it’s control over the WNBA and I doubt NBA offices were involved in the trophy selection process; The NBA had no obligation to get the WNBA started .. WNBA needs to stand on its own. Through 2019, the WNBA was losing $10 mil per year.
@CoachKatieRees All 4 of my boys ran XC and I don’t recall any of them or their teammates feeling sorry for themselves and they were putting in 500+ miles as they became juniors. They knew from experience and from their coach they were not going to feel 100%.
